Privacy
This is the portfolio of Suteja Rao, a UX designer in the UK. I am responsible for any personal data it collects. Questions or requests: suteja@sutejarao.com.
Analytics cookies
With your permission I use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they arrive, and whether they download my CV or click a contact link. Nothing loads until you press Accept. If you do, Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and I cannot see who you are.
The legal basis is your consent. I keep the analytics data for 14 months. Google acts as my processor and may handle the data outside the UK under its standard contractual safeguards.
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, so the banner does not reappear on every page. You can change it at any time:
Access requests for the MoD case study
If you ask for access to the password-protected MoD case study, the name and email you enter are sent to me by email through EmailJS, so I can reply. I use them only for that request and delete the email once it is dealt with. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering you.
Other services this site uses
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep it running.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address. No cookies are set.
- Links to LinkedIn and Instagram take you to those sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with my answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
